A five-day trek in the Sinai Mountains, in May 2023, returning to the Hight Mountains after more than ten years.

I had recently acquired a Nikon Z5 with 24-200 mm lens, but the Egyptian authorities at the Taba border crossing, did not let me take it in, because all “zoom lenses” were forbidden - and I did not have any other lenses with me. What were they afraid I would photograph?

I got my camera and lese back when I returned, but I had to resort to photographing with my cell phone - at that time an iPhone 8 - so these are my cellphone photos. In the meantime, I got a later model with a more advanced camera.
